Experience Beijing Day 3

Jade factory on our way to Ming Tomb.
 Mum loves this 万马奔腾 piece
明十三陵 Ming Tomb, Thirteen Tombs of the Ming Dynasty.
 Emperor robe
 Empress robe 百子衣
 Gold bar, woah!
Ming Emperor tomb is disappointing as compare to Qing's.
定陵 is one of the tombs at the Ming Dynasty Tombs site, is the tomb of WanLi Emperor.  It also remains the only intact imperial tomb to have been excavated.
 This is the guiding slab
 Impressive view outside Ming Tomb
Highlight of the trip, The Great Wall of China 居庸关. We only have an hour and a half here and we spend half the time to fill up Inho's tummy and settle mummy in a cafe.
 Mum so cute, yeah.
Inho says he needs food before he can climb The Great Wall.

The husband munching on a glutinous corn. It's a chewy breed of corn, different from what we had in Singapore. Tasted horrible to me but it taste delicious to The husband, he say he use to eat this in Korea when he was a kid.
Took my time to stroll around, I am not ambitious, don't want to tired my muscle out.
The husband took up the challenge to climb up to the top. Steps are too steep, i gave up half way through.

 Amazing view from the top
Celine: so near yet so far.
Mum spend her time to pretend 格格
She conquered The Great Wall (close one eye).
 56% alcohol content
 水立方 Beijing water park
 Beijing Olympic stadium, Bird Nest.
 Look, bird building beside.
 Me and my tanghulu again.
Beijing duck dinner
Thereafter we went to 秀水街, which is a total waste of time, no idea why this is a tourist attraction. Why would people come all the way to this mall to get low quality imitation goods.
My habit to try out Mcd specialty in every country, here we have Yam Pie in Beijing.
The foodie inside me told myself to try at least one good Beijing duck in Beijing before we head back Sin city so we cab down to 王府井 again to look for 全聚德. It's a 6 floor restaurant serving peking duck, how cool is that.
Queue was fast, only ten minutes.
 Oh my they loves scorpion.
Peking duck here arent cheap, after those ++ we paid almost 40SGD for half a duck
 Mum wants some hot porridge
 Dim Sum duckie
Max delicious mushroom black chicken soup, very flavorful, so good that we ordered another one.
Jelly foie gras with vinegar dipping
All these are additional charge to be paid for
Fatty crispy skin to be eaten with sugar
 Sliced Peking duck
 Duck bone soup comes free
My additional order of duck mushroom soup
Add on dinner add up to be around 80SGD for 3 of us.
Mum wants to take picture with everything -.-
100RMB worth of pick and weight snacks mum bought
The long xu tang (maltose candy) i got conned, it's just flour. D'OH!
